I hope you all had a lovely weekend and found something fun to do in this heat!
Here at Rebagz, we all did different things this weekend, but Alexis and I decided to hit the beach! As a Brit, our beaches are very scenic and pretty, but FREEZING COLD, so a little trip to Venice Beach was definitely in order!
It was a gorgeous day and the sea breeze kept us just at the right temperature. As well as wandering along the boardwalk, we spent an hour or so chilling on the beach and just watching life pass by.
We both had our Rebagz with us, and decided to make a little post about what every girl should take to the beach!
* A Rebagz! : Our Sack Graphics bags are perfect for the beach, as they're big enough to store your towel and bathing suit without being clumsy, and they are waterproof so won't get soggy if you happen to get caught by the tide or sit on some wet sand.
* Your phone or camera: Perfect for taking cute snaps and capturing the memories of the day. Plus, if you have music, you can make your own beach playlist.
* A magazine: great for flicking through, and it doesn't matter if it gets a bit sandy!
* A hair brush: Tame the tresses... enough said!
* Sun creme : An essential. Protect your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays, whilst still getting a tan.
* Antibacterial gel: You never know what you've touched on the beach, so make sure you clean your hands before you eat anything.
*Water: An absolute essential. Getting dehydrated is so unhealthy, not just for your skin, but the rest of your body. Plus, if you get too dehydrated you could get heat-stroke (speaking from experience this is NOT fun), so keep yourself well hydrated!
