Drink anyone? Are wine handbags the next big thing?

You know how you can buy boxed wine at the store, but often the packaging is pretty ugly and you're a bit embarrassed to serve it at a party or over dinner? Well, why not place the bag of wine into a more stylish container instead of the usual cardboard box? That's exactly what a Swedish wine company has done! Their fabulous packaging, as seen above, is fast becoming an online sensation. By containing their wine in these handbag shaped boxes (which are the latest trend in dinner and cocktail party accessories) their sales have rocketed, especially among female shoppers.
The Swedish company Vernissage aren't the first to design their wine boxes this way, but they are certainly the smartest we've found (just Google "winehandbag" and you'll see what we mean!). They are already available in Europe and will be hitting the US soon!


Personally, we think these are great, and we think we'd even go as far as to make this box of hand bag wine our center piece.
