So - we're all aware that this fall we're all expected to turn into magpies. Anything shiny, patent, leather or sheen will turn heads, and we get extra fashion points if we can mimic the looks seen on the runway at Michael Kors, Fendi and Jil Sander.
However, any environmentally conscious woman will know that this trend is certainly not animal friendly. Leather (for obvious reasons) is the least animal friendly of this season's textile trends, and so as much as we may lust after purses from Lanvin and Coach, we know that our new purse will come at a huge cost to some poor animal.
